Saturday, May 16, 5:00 - 6:30 pm — Urban Singers & Chamber Orchestra
The Orchestra will showcase three senior soloists and a student-arranged piece conducted and performed by students, before closing with a symphonic favorite sure to leave audiences inspired.
Urban Singers explore the question, What does time feel like? through music that moves from quiet reflection to joyful celebration — a reminder to cherish every moment.
Sunday, May 17, 5:00 - 6:30 pm —Lab and Advanced Jazz Bands
Lab Jazz Band will perform a swinging, blues-infused set featuring works by Horace Silver and Charles Mingus.
Advanced Jazz Band will highlight music inspired by the Fillmore District of San Francisco, a beautiful composition by Billy Strayhorn, and an arrangement by one of our Seniors, along with a few fun surprises.
